Hooks 2016 running back and linebacker Reshawn Parker has picked up a Division I FCS offer from Alcorn State, the Hornets' playmaker announced via Twitter on Sunday afternoon.

Parker (6-2, 210), who holds FBS scholarship invitations from Oklahoma State and Texas State, is now a target of the Southwestern Athletic Conference program from Mississippi.

As a senior, Parker helped Hooks to a 9-2 season and a berth in the bi-district round of the Class 3A Division II playoffs. The two-way standout ran for 1,015 yards and 11 touchdowns on 132 carries on offense.

Defensively, Parker made 114 tackles (seven for loss) with two sacks.

Alcorn State, located in Loman, Miss., competes in the SWAC. The Braves are coached by Jay Hopson and are coming off a 9-4 season in 2015, which included a 7-2 mark in conference play.

Parker, like all 2016 recruits, can officially sign with the college of their choosing on Feb. 3.
