Atlanta Cruises to 52-0 Shutout of New Boston

ATLANTA — Layton Henson passed for three touchdowns, and the Atlanta Rabbits cruised to a 52-0 rout of New Boston on Friday night.

Atlanta (3-1) raced to a 36-0 lead at halftime, and limited New Boston (2-3) to just 132 yards of offense.

Kelton Young rushed for a pair of touchdowns, while Hinton Roberts caught scoring receptions of 39 and 11 yards.

Henson completed 5 of 7 passes for 145 yards.

Nick Cooper and Jawan King had touchdown runs in the second half for the Rabbits.

Atlanta plays host to Tatum next Friday night, while New Boston returns to action Oct. 7 at home against Jefferson in the District 8-3A Division I opener.
