TATUM -- The Atlanta Rabbits scored 20 unanswered points in the second half for a 34-28 win over Tatum at Eagle Stadium on Friday night.

Atlanta (3-2), which trailed 28-14 in the third quarter, got two touchdowns from quarterback Andrew Samples in the fourth to complete the comeback. His 71-yard scoring strike to Austin Brown with a little more than three minutes remaining was the difference.

The loss spoiled a big night from Tatum (2-4) running back Cedric White, who rushed for three touchdowns in the first half.

Both teams open district play next week. Tatum plays host to Diboll, while Atlanta entertains Pittsburg.
