Jawan King is starting to see more interest from colleges.

King, a 2019 running back for Atlanta, reported an offer from Houston Baptist on Wednesday evening.

King (5-10, 210) also holds FBS offers from Louisiana-Monroe, Texas State, and UTSA, and additional FCS opportunities from Illinois State, Incarnate Word, Missouri State, and Northwestern State.

Last season, King was part of an offense that averaged more than 30 points per game. Atlanta finished the 2017 season at 5-6 overall, reaching the Class 4A Division II playoffs.

Houston Baptist competes in the Southland Conference of the NCAA's FCS subdivision. The Huskies finished 1-10 this past season.

King, like all juniors, is first eligible to sign with any school that offers him beginning in December.
