Beckville Sweeps Amarillo Highland Park + Advances to State Title

GARLAND -- Beckville is on to its first state championship game in school history after a sweep of Amarillo Highland Park on Wednesday evening.

The Ladycats defeated the Lady Hornets 25-22, 25-22 and 25-16 to advance. Jordan Tondreau led Beckville with 10 kills and Miranda Mize was next with seven. Tondreau also led the team in digs with 16 while Kinley Pepper finished with 27 assists.

Beckville improved its record to 41-8 with the victory. The Ladycats will face Lindsay (40-3) in the championship game at 5 p.m. Thursday in Garland.
