Tyler Bishop Gorman junior receiver Judah Bell announced via Twitter late Thursday night an offer from Coastal Carolina.

Bell (6-3, 180) also holds eight additional offers from Division I FBS programs -- Bowling Green, Houston, Kansas, Navy, North Texas, SMU, Louisiana-Lafayette, and UTSA.

Costal Carolina, located in Conway, S.C., began its football program in 2003 and has been an FCS member of the Big South Conference since its inception.

However, this season will be the first for Coastal Carolina as an FBS school. The Chanticleers will be under provisional status in 2016 and 2017, playing as an independent this season and a member of the Sun Belt Conference next year.

Coastal Carolina will become eligible for bowl games beginning with the 2018 season.

The Chanticleers are coached by Joe Moglia, who has led Coastal Carolina to a 41-13 record in his four seasons in charge. Under his guidance, Coastal Carolina reached the FCS playoffs all four years, including back-to-back quarterfinals appearances in 2013 and 2014.

Bell had a stellar junior season for Gorman, finishing with 68 catches for 1,350 yards and 16 touchdowns in 10 games. The Crusaders were 8-2 and reached the bi-district round of the TAPPS Division II playoffs.

Like all recruits entering their senior season, Bell can officially sign with the school of his choosing on Feb. 1, 2017.
