Two Class A East Texas teams enjoyed the biggest jumps in this week's Texas Association of Basketball Coaches polls.

West Sabine ascended from 21st a week ago to No. 18 this week to once again give East Texas six teams in the Class A Division I poll. No. 3 Grapeland, No. 5 Cayuga, No. 8 San Augustine, No. 11 LaPoynor, and No. 14 Tenaha kept their previous spots.

In Class A Division II, Douglass moved up five spots to No. 11. District 25-A D-II still has four teams in the tp 20: No. 8 Oakwood, No. 11 Douglass, No. 17 Laneville, No. 20 Chireno. Saltillo slipped one spot to No. 12.

Jacksonville, still undefeated, remained No. 10 in the Class 4A rankings, while Chapel Hill fell two spots to No. 21 in the Class 3A poll. Pleasant Grove fell from 22nd last week to out of the 3A rankings.

White Oak and Tatum remained No. 2 and No. 3, respectively in Class 2A behind top-ranked Kountze, which will likely play Tatum in the second round of the playoffs. Palestine Westwood kept the No. 19 spot in 2A.
