LONGVIEW -- Longview remained undefeated in District 12-5A play with a 51-46 victory over North Mesquite on Tuesday at Lobo Coliseum.

Longview is now 13-10 overall and 4-0 in 12-5A. The Lobos are 13-3 since their football players joined the squad.

Jacksonville Keeps Unbeaten Season Alive in Seven-Point Win Over Hallsville

JACKSONVILLE -- Jacksonville's balanced scoring attack triumphed over Hallsville's two-man show in the Tribe's 63-56 victory Tuesday.

Eleven Indians scored, led by D.D. Franklin's 14 points. Ozzian Clayborne scored nine points, while Charles Kendrick and Raybon Riden added eight apiece. K.D. Buckingham had six points for the Indians, who improved to 22-0 on the season and are ranked 12th in Class 4A.

Hallsville's Cody Blankenship scored a game-high 23 points. Teammate Nolan Faires added 22 points for the 8-13 Bobcats.

Kendon Womack Leads Spring Hill to 53-37 Victory vs. Henderson

LONGVIEW -- Kendon Womack led Spring Hill with 18 points and six rebounds in a 53-37 District 16-3A win Tuesday.

Spring Hill's Jordan Phelan had 15 points, four assists, and three steals, while Matt Williams added six points and four assists. Ben Brundrett scored six points, and Adam Lattier dished four assists.

Spring Hill improved to 15-8 overall and 3-1 in district.

Strong Fourth Quarter Propels Chapel Hill to 57-38 Win at Bullard

BULLARD -- Chapel Hill outscored Bullard 21-10 in the fourth quarter to pull away in a 57-38 victory in Tuesday's District 16-3A contest.

Julius Hill led Chapel Hill with 17 points, while D.J. Sammons was the Bulldogs' top assist man. Corbin Howard led Bullard with 17 points.

The win makes Chapel Hill 14-7 overall and 4-0 in 16-3A entering Friday's 7:30 p.m. home game against Kilgore.

Palestine Westwood Shares Scoring Load in 63-58 Win Against Crockett

PALESTINE -- Six Palestine Westwood players scored at least nine points each as 17th-ranked Westwood remained unbeaten in district play with a 63-58 win against Crockett.

Dra Ross scored a team-high 12 points to lead Westwood (14-7, 4-0), while L.J. Hutchison and J.J. Turner scored 11 points apiece. Josh Denby, Chris Thompson, and Jacobee Newton added nine points each.

Crockett fell to 2-1 in district play with the loss.

Harmony Edges Sabine 48-43 in 18-2A Meeting

ROSEWOOD -- Alan Peralta's 22 points paced Harmony in a 48-43 victory against Sabine, the Eagles' first in District 18-2A play.

Austin Spurlock added nine points, while Reid Rendon and Seth Seabolt scored eight and seven, respectively for the Eagles (8-13, 1-3).

Ashley Dukes led Sabine (1-3 in district) with a 18 points. Cody Sauce scored nine points.

Road Victory Over Quitman Keeps Edgewood Perfect in 14-2A

QUITMAN -- Edgewood topped Quitman 64-49 on Tuesday to remain undefeated in District 14-2A competition.

The Bulldogs are now 15-7 overall and 4-0 in district play.

Martin's Mill Serves Big Sandy First District Loss

BIG SANDY -- July Latimer's 25 points led Martin's Mill to a 59-51 win at Big Sandy in Tuesday's District 17-A matchup.

Davis Moore added 16 points for Martin's Mill, which improved to 4-0 in 17-A play. Hunter Conway scored 11 points for the Mustangs.

Joshua Jackson led Big Sandy with 17 points. Isaiah Johnson added 16 points for the Wildcats, who fell to 15-3 overall and 2-1 in district. Big Sandy' Matt Easley scored nine points.

No. 11 LaPoynor Rolls in Road Blowout of Beckville

BECKVILLE -- Five players score in double figures to power 11th-ranked LaPoynor to a 91-23 rout of Beckville in Tuesday's District 17-A contest.

The win made the Flyers 17-5 on the season.

Tyler Grace Rolls in District Opener at Waco Reicher

WACO -- Trevor Gunter hit eight of his nine field-goal attempts and Tyler Grace made nine three-pointers in an 80-39 road rout of Waco Reicher in Tuesday's district opener.

Gunter scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Cougars (10-7, 1-0), who led 16-5 after one quarter and 34-22 at halftime. Grace blew the game open in the third with a 23-7 advantage for a 57-29 lead through three periods.

Grace's Phillip McKinney had 10 points, eight assists, and three steals, while Andrew Melhart scored 14 points. Blake Johnson and Verlo Levels added 10 and nine, respectively.

Grace shot 56 percent and held Reicher to 29 percent. The Cougars' 41-point win came despite a 33-11 disadvantage in free-throw attempts.

Tyler All Saints Drops District Opener to Dallas Christian

MESQUITE -- The Tyler All Saints Trojans fell to Dallas Christian, 65-50, Tuesday night in the TAPPS District 2-4A opener for both teams.

Brice Borgeson led the Trojans (18-9, 0-1) with 15 points, while Aston Francis added 12.

All Saints continues its season Friday at home against Waco Reicher.
