FRISCO -- Bullard Brook Hill clawed back from giving up a four-spot in the third inning with a four-spot of its own in the fourth and managed to hang on against Frisco Legacy, 6-4, in the bi-district round of the TAPPS Division II playoffs.

The Guard opened the game with one run apiece in the first and second innings.

Campbell Fletcher and Seth Moss both recorded two doubles in the game and combined for two RBIs. Fletcher batted 2 for 3 and Moss went 2 for 4 at the plate.

Logan Fitzgerald recorded two RBIs and scored once while batting a team-best 3 for 4.

Starting pitcher Miguel Vega took the win on the mound for the Guard. He allowed all four Legacy runs, but he managed to hold in the fourth once Brook Hill regained the lead before turning the game over to the bullpen.

The Guard will face Fort Worth Christian or Austin St. Michael's Catholic Academy in the next round of the postseason.
