KEMP -- The Brownsboro Bears earned a pair of wins Thursday and Friday at the Kemp baseball tournament.

Brownsboro defeated Eustace, 11-1, on Thursday and Ferris, 3-0, on Friday.

In the win over Eustace, Brownsboro scored five runs in the opening inning, which included RBI singles from Shelby Rogers and Blake Ralson and a two-run double by Raul Gutierrez.

Ralson registered a hit in his first three at-bats.

Chris Davis got the win, allowing a run on four hits with nine strikeouts in five innings.

Ryan Covington collected three hits in the Bears' win over Ferris. Meanwhile, the pitching duo of Rogers and Ty Thomison held Ferris scoreless and allowed three hits with eight strikeouts and seven walks.
