It's hard to imagine a university that doesn't want Major Tennison, but the Bullard tight end's offer list is an intimidating one for schools even nearing the cusp of competing for conference championships.

That's just the downside of committing to Texas as a junior and possessing other invitations from Alabama and Michigan among the first 12 teams to offer, if gaining scholarship numbers was Tennison's goal.

Oregon, however, might earn a long look from the tight end.

The Ducks program has entered the mix. Tennison reported his 13th FBS offer through his personal Twitter account Monday evening.

Tennison (6-6, 248) caught 27 passes in 11 games during his junior season for 603 yards. Eight receptions went for touchdowns.

Bullard finished the 2015 season with an overall record of 7-4 after falling to Atlanta in the first round of the Class 4A Division II playoffs.

Oregon turned in a 9-3 regular season last year and finished second overall in the Pac-12. Stanford finished first and belonged in the same North Division, which prevented the Ducks from making a second straight Pac-12 championship game appearance.

The Ducks' reward for a strong season was a date with TCU in the Alamo Bowl. They blew a 31-0 lead in the second half of the bowl game -- after starting quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. went down with an injury -- and fell in triple overtime.

Oregon finished the year ranked 19th in the Associated Press poll.

The four-loss season was easily the worst for the program through the current decade.

Oregon reached national championship games in 2010 and 2014. It won Pac-12 titles in 2010, 2011 and 2014 in addition to losing no more than two games a season through a five-year span starting in 2010.

Mark Helfrich will be back for a fourth season in Eugene, Ore. He owns a 33-8 coaching record since replacing Chip Kelly as the leader of the program.

The Ducks have produced eight consensus All-Americans through their 121-year history as well as the 2014 Heisman Trophy winner, quarterback Macus Mariota.

While Tennison is verbally committed to Texas, he won't become eligible to sign with any program that offers him until National Signing Day on Feb. 1, 2017.
