Bullard + Winona Girls Begin Basketball Season With Wins

MABANK -- The Bullard Lady Panthers rolled to a 62-29 win over Mabank in the season opener for both teams Tuesday night.

Hannah Lloyd knocked down seven 3-pointers and finished with a team-high 23 points, while Lauren Zachry had 16 points, which included four 3's. Allie Kirgan finished with 16 points as well.

Bullard (1-0) returns to the court Friday at Tyler Lee.

Winona Rips Lone Oak

WINONA -- The Winona Ladycats got off to a strong to the season with a 66-45 rout of Lone Oak on Tuesday.

Randaysha Hanson led Winona (1-0) with 23 points.

Makayla Champion and Nichole Garrett added nine and seven points, respectively.
