Canton Knocks Off No. 13 Bullard, 45-39, In Regional Quarterfinals

EMORY -- The Canton Eaglettes scored a 45-39 upset win over No 13 Bullard in a Class 4A Region II quarterfinal playoff Tuesday night.

Bullard (31-7) was led in defeat by Lexi Kirgan, who poured in 22 points. Hannah Lloyd added eight points in the season-ending defeat.

Canton advanced to the regional tournament at Texas A&M-Commerce. It will face the winner of Wednesday's game between No. 7 Celina and Sanger, on Friday night.
