MALAKOFF -- Carlisle's offense cruised to 482 yards in a 56-0 win Friday against Cross Roads on the road.

The Indians are 5-1 overall and the victory served as its kick off in District 11-2A Division I.

Scoring happened early and often with no points scored in the fourth quarter.

Rico Pereles had three touchdown scores in the game, six and four-yard touchdown receptions and then a 25-yard run late in the third quarter to up the score to its final. Bryce McGowan scored on 13 and six-yard runs.

Juan Hernandez and Tiburcio Garcio had the most explosive plays for Carlisle. Henandez ran one in from 66 yards out and Garcia scored on a 51-yard run.

Cross Roads (2-4, 0-1) will attempt to bounce back next week on the road against Cayuga. The Indians return home and will take on Alto.
