Carlisle Ousts San Augustine to Reach Regional Final

MARSHALL -- Mason Pendleton rushed for two touchdowns, while Tristan Craig accounted for two scores in Carlisle's 28-14 win over San Augustine in their Class 2A Division I, Region III semifinal Friday night at Maverick Stadium.

Carlisle (12-1), which avenged a 42-28 loss to San Augustine (8-5) in the regular-season finale, advanced to the state quarterfinals where the Indians will face Centerville (10-3).

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday from Palestine's Wildcat Stadium.
