Two players in Carthage's 2014-heavy offense plan to attend Saturday's junior day at SMU.

Quarterback Blake Bogenschutz confirmed with ETSN.fm on Thursday afternoon that he'll be going to the event, which will also host offensive lineman Adrian Goodacre, who confirmed via text that he'll also be in attendance.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Bogenschutz also plans to attend a North Texas junior day Feb. 23. Bogenschutz threw for 2,870 yards, 38 touchdowns, and nine interceptions in 2012, when he led Carthage to an 11-3 record and Class 3A Division I state semifinal appearance. He enters the 2013 season needing fewer than 1,500 passing yards to set the school's career record (7,024) and 22 touchdown throws to tie the career mark (84).

The 6-foot-4, 310-pound Goodacre is the largest member of a hefty, all-junior Carthage offensive line that led the way for a Bulldog offense that produced more than 3,000 passing yards and 2,600-plus rushing yards in 2012. Goodacre plays right guard for the Bulldogs.
