CARTHAGE -- Another 2013 Carthage Bulldog football game, another record going down.

This time it was senior receiver Terian "Tee" Goree's turn to break into the record books.

Goree caught two of senior quarterback Blake Bogenschutz' four touchdown passes in a 55-3 blowout of Center on Friday night to give Goree 19 touchdown catches on the year. In only eight games, he has broken the previous single-season Carthage record of 18 set by Jalen Claiborne during the Bulldogs' third consecutive Class 3A Division II state championship season in 2010.

Goree caught nine passes for 117 yards and the two scores as he eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark and 50-reception mark for the season. Bogenschutz completed 17 of 23 passes for 238 yards and four touchdowns, giving him 34 touchdown passes to only three interceptions this season. Bogenschutz set Carthage's career passing yards and touchdown pass records during the last three games.

Senior tailback Tevin Pipkin had a big night, rushing nine times for 154 yards and two touchdowns to spearhead a 289-yard rushing performance that helped the Bulldogs (7-1, 2-0) gain 536 total yards. Junior Tredarion Jackson added 12 carries for 94 yards and a touchdown.

Junior Bryian Bolton caught a 26-yard touchdown pass, while sophomore tight end Cagan Baldree caught a 13-yard touchdown pass. Senior Keldrean Strong caught three passes for 60 yards.

Senior linebacker D'vodney Brooks capped seventh-ranked Carthage's 20-point first quarter with 74-yard interception return touchdowns. Center's Luis Garcia hit a 30-yard field goal six seconds into the second quarter, but Bogenschutz threw two touchdowns to Goree and one to Baldree for a 41-3 halftime lead.

Pipkin added a 49-yard touchdown run to start the second half and end the night for Carthage's offensive starters. Jackson scored from three yards early in the fourth for the 52-point victory margin.

Center's Decorey McGee carried 14 times for 56 yards. Quarterback Caiden Rainbolt completed 10 of 26 passes for 84 yards and an interception. Carthage held Center to 147 total yards.

Carthage travels to Jasper (4-2, 1-0) next Friday for the Fox Sports Southwest Dairy Queen Big Game of the Week. Center (1-7, 1-1) hosts Huntington.
