Carthage’s Adrian Goodacre Receives ULL + Abilene Christian Offers

The first two offers of Adrian Goodacre's recruitment arrived over the weekend, and there will surely be more.

Carthage's big offensive lineman got his first offer from Abilene Christian on Saturday at the Baylor camp at Marshall High School. Then Sunday saw the 6-foot-4, 310-pounder get his first FBS offer from Louisiana-Lafayette, according to Carthage head coach Scott Surratt.

Goodacre is the second Carthage player to receive an offer from ULL. The Ragin' Cajuns have also offered receiver Terian "Tee" Goree, who led the Bulldogs in catches (66), receiving yards (1,261), and touchdown grabs (17) this past fall.

Goodacre started the entire 2012 season at right guard for Carthage, which went 11-3 with a Class 3A Division I state semifinal appearance. He blocked for an offense that averaged 42.8 points per game and produced a 2,800-yard passer (Blake Bogenschutz), 1,600-yard rusher (Tevin Pipkin), and 1,200-yard receiver (Goree).

Those three players join Goodacre among the 10 offensive starters Carthage returns for the 2013 season.
