Chandler Eiland Returns to Lead Canton to 49-44 Win Against Wills Point

CANTON -- Junior quarterback Chandler Eiland came back from an injury that kept him out of Canton's last three games to lead the Eagles to a 49-44 win against Wills Point.

The win was the first of the season for Canton (1-4), which scored more points Friday night than it had in its first four games (41 points).

Eiland completed 12 of 16 passes for 255 yards and three touchdowns, while rushing for 104 yards and two touchdowns.

Canton running back Jordan Jackson ran 12 times for 134 yards and two touchdowns.

Canton has a bye next week before hosting undefeated Athens on Oct. 11.
