The win pushed Canton to 3-4 overall, but more importantly 2-1 in 15-3A and closer to a playoff berth. Canton travels to Brownsboro (2-6, 0-3) on Friday and could likely clinch a playoff spot with a win.

Garrett Denbow and Ryan Slider were the key recipients of Eiland's big passing performance. Denbow caught five passes for 133 yards and two touchdowns, while Slider caught four passes for a game-high 145 yards and two scores.

Slider also had a big impact on defense, where he intercepted a pass and blocked an extra-point attempt.

After an 0-3 start, Canton has won three of its last four games with the Eagles' only loss coming to undefeated district frontrunner Athens, 50-26, on Oct. 11.
