Chapel Hill Pitcher Pat Day Decommits From Texas Tech + Pledges to Houston

One month ago after pledging to Texas Tech, Chapel Hill 2014 left-handed pitcher Pat Day has had a change of heart.

Day announced on Twitter on Sunday that he has committed to the University of Houston.

In the weeks since Day's original commitment to Tech, the senior-to-be had also heard from Texas A&M before Houston extended the offer.

In 2013, Day was 5-5 with a 2.24 ERA and 101 strikeouts in 46 1/3 innings.
