PARIS -- The duo of Chase Musgrove and DeQuan Allen carried the Atlanta Rabbits to a 62-47 victory over Melissa in their Class 4A Division II Region II bi-district playoff Friday night at Wildcat Stadium.

Musgrove rushed for 239 yards and five touchdowns on 27 carries, while Allen carried 20 times for 220 yards and three touchdowns as Atlanta (10-1) rolled up 480 yards on the ground.

Atlanta will face the winner of Saturday's playoff game between Mexia and Cleveland Tarkington next week in the area round.

Musgrove's touchdown runs covered 17, 1, 22, 10 and 71 yards, while Allen reached the end zone on runs of 10, 2 and 43 yards. Musgrove was also 6 of 12 passing for 50 yards with an interception.

Taylor McGehee led Melissa (4-7) by completing 21 of 45 passes for 336 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. McGehee also ran for 72 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries. Jordan Fortner added 128 yards rushing and a touchdown on 13 attempts.
