Cheyenne Brown + Martin’s Mill March On To Regional Quarterfinals

GILMER -- The ninth-ranked Martin's Mill Lady Mustangs rolled to a 59-28 win over Bogata Rivercrest in a Class 2A Region II area-round playoff game Friday night.

Cheyenne Brown, a Northwestern State signee, led Martin's Mill with 28 points. Freshman Briley Moon added 14 points, which included a pair of 3-pointers.

The win vaulted the Lady Mustangs (26-7) into the regional quarterfinals where they will face Honey Grove next week. The winner will advance to the regional tournament next Friday and Saturday at McKinney North High School.
