WHITE OAK -- Senior quarterback Dylan Gale completed all but four of his 21 pass attempts to lead White Oak to a 57-7 blowout of Mineola on Friday night at Roughneck Stadium.

Gale, who ran for two touchdowns, threw for 372 yards and four touchdowns to go north of 1,000 passing yards for the season, while Hayden Nichols caught four passes for 152 yards and two scores. The win pushed White Oak to 5-0 entering the Roughnecks' bye week before District 9-2A Division I play starts Oct. 11 with a trip to Tatum.

Tailback Riley Lakin eclipsed the century mark with 104 yards and a touchdown on only 10 carries to give him 587 yards in the Roughnecks' first five games.

White Oak's Josh Benson snagged three passes for 70 yards and a touchdown. Gabe Michael caught four passes for 74 yards. Cass Carr finished with three receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown, while Jansen McCurdy had two catches for 57 yards and one score.

Reserve quarterback Cordelle Smith was 2-for-2 for 41 yards and a touchdown to help White Oak eclipse 400 passing yards as a team in the 50-point rout.

White Oak's Zach Rowe and Jessie Reeves combined for 57 yards on 10 carries. White Oak finished with 554 total yards.

Mineola fell to 3-2 entering its bye week. The Yellowjackets start District 15-3A play Oct. 11 at home against Van.
