Ennis Offense Too Much for Lindale in 38-0 District Shutout

LINDALE -- Tycen Thompson scored two touchdowns and Ennis' defense shut down Lindale in a 38-0 shutout on Friday night in District 17-5A action at Eagle Stadium.

Thompson caught a 12-yard touchdown pass and ran for a 3-yard touchdown, while finishing with 79 yards rushing on 13 carrires. Ennis (4-3, 2-0) quarterback Kademon Graff threw for 157 yards and a touchdown while running for a 31-yard score in the win.

James Harris, who led Ennis in rushing with 11 carries for 118 yards, scored on a 21-yard run to help the Lions get a 25-0 lead going into halftime.

Kyrie Holloway scored the Lions' final touchdown with 3:19 left in the game on a 48-yard run.

Jordan Robinson led Lindale's offense with 15 carries for 83 yards.
