Another one of the playmaking studs first-year John Tyler head coach Ricklan Holmes can use to shred opposing defenses, Darion Flowers is poised to stretch the field and hurt secondaries during his senior year.

Flowers had a huge junior season, catching 58 passes for 1,006 yards and eight touchdowns while rushing for another score as the Lions averaged 50.4 points in their seven district games.

Flowers, who attended Oklahoma State and SMU camps, has shown a lot of interest in SMU, according to Scout.com. The Mustangs, along with a host of other schools across the region, are reciprocating that interest.

Don’t expect the dynamic receiver to be without an offer long.
