Four of the top 10 teams in ETSN.fm's weekly Class 2A poll had the week off this past Friday.

No. 1 Newton, No. 3 Tatum, No. 6 Hughes Springs, and No. 8 Corrigan-Camden took their byes and retained their previous rankings.

The only movement came at No. 10, where Edgewood fell from the poll following a 48-34 loss to Emory Rains. New Diana improved to 3-0 with a 55-6 rout of Winona and took the 10th spot.
