ETSN.fm Final Regular Season 5A/4A Poll: No Movement Entering the Playoffs

The final ETSN.fm regular-season 5A/4A Top 10 of the season is out, and it looks just like it did a week ago.

No. 1 John Tyler (9-1) enters the Class 4A Division I Region II playoffs after a thrilling 45-38 victory against Whitehouse (9-1), which held the No. 3 spot despite the loss. Sandwiched between them is No. 2 Longview (7-3), which rolls into the Class 5A Division II Region II playoffs having won three in a row, including a 40-7 blowout of Rockwall.

No. 4 Lufkin (7-3) earned a share of the District 14-5A title with a 55-14 rout of Conroe, and No. 5 Sulphur Springs (8-2) clinched an undefeated District 14-4A championship with a 62-34 victory against Marshall. Sixth-ranked Mount Pleasant (7-3) finished second in 14-4A after a 55-24 win against Pine Tree.

Hallsville, third in 14-4A, rounds out the poll once again at No. 7 thanks to a 19-7 triumph over Texas High.
