ETSN.fm State Semifinal Podcast Part I: John Tyler + Gilmer Back in the Final Four

Two storied East Texas programs in the 4A and 3A ranks are set to battle for state championship berths, and the guys from ETSN.fm talk all about them in Part I of this week's podcast.

The high-scoring John Tyler Lions face a potent Denton Guyer team in the Class 4A Division I state semifinals Friday night in Midlothian. JT's defense goes up against a Guyer team rushing for more than 300 yards a game.

Guyer is playing in its fourth state semifinal in seven years, while John Tyler is in its eighth final-four contest.

In Class 3A Division II, perennial East Texas power Gilmer puts its 4-0 record in state semifinals on the line against a Graham team three years removed from a 3A D-II championship appearance. Both teams are 13-1.

ETSN.fm staff members Gabe Brooks and Clint Buckley talk at length about both matchups, which promise to be exciting.
