EUSTACE -- Sunnyvale closed the third quarter of its game against Eustace up 44-20 and coasted to a 51-40 win at Bulldog Stadium.

Despite the loss, which gave the Bulldogs an 0-2 non-district record, running back Keenan Hargest ran for two touchdowns and 233 yards on 32 carries.

Running back Lance Rogers added another 180 yards of offense on 22 carries and reached the end zone twice.

The Bulldogs put up 520 total yards, 491 of it on the ground with a supporting cast rounded out by Micah Stone, Quinton Parks, Cameron Rogers and Brandon Morgan.

Eustace will try to get in the win column Friday at home against Mabank in a Cedar Creek Lake rivalry game.
