Five East Texas Baseball Teams Crack Weekly THSBCA Top 10 Polls

There are five baseball teams from East Texas ranked in Texas Association of Baseball Coaches' top 10 polls.

There is no area representation in Class 5A, but every other classification has at least one East Texas school in the rankings.

Hallsville (18-2) is No. 4 in 4A, up four spots from last week. And in Class 3A, Lufkin Hudson (16-4) is No. 7.

There are two schools ranked in the 2A top 10 -- No. 1 Hughes Springs (17-0) and No. 5 White Oak (12-2).

Carlisle (14-0) is the top-ranked team in Class A for the second consecutive week.
