Five East Texas Teams Ranked in Weekly THSBCA Polls

There are five East Texas teams ranked in the latest Texas Association of Baseball Coaches polls, which were released Thursday.

District 20-3A champion Lufkin Hudson is ranked No. 7 in the 3A poll.

There are two area schools in the top 10 in 2A, including top-ranked Hughes Springs, which just completed an undefeated regular season after doing the same in football. White Oak, which ran away with the 17-2A title, checks in at No. 4.

Undefeated Carlisle is once again the top-ranked team in Class A, while Colmesneil is No. 8.
