Four East Texans Compete This Week in National Football All-Star Games
Four East Texas seniors compete in renowned football all-star games this week that will be televised nationally.
Nacogdoches center Jacob Bragg plays in the Under Armour All-American Game at 3 p.m. Thursday in St. Petersburg, Fla. ESPN will broadcast the game.
A trio of East Texans -- Mount Pleasant receiver K.D. Cannon, Jasper center Terrell Cuney, and Liberty-Eylau athlete Davion Hall -- play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl at noon Saturday at San Antonio's Alamodome. NBC will televise the game.
Cannon, Cannon, and Hall give East Texas 23 participants in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl since its first event in 2001.
