LUFKIN -- Tiandre Jackson-Young scored 20 points on Friday to lead Marshall to a 66-46 victory at Lufkin.
Marshall got 14 points apiece from Jay McKnight and Chris Brown.
The Mavs host Kilgore at 10 a.m. Friday.
Union Grove Tops Big Sandy
UNION GROVE -- Union Grove remained undefeated Friday night with a 59-38 home win against Big Sandy.
The win pushed the Lions to 3-0 on the young season.
Big Sandy (1-2) got eight points apiece from Travis Willoughby and Matt Easley, while Jerod Lauby scored seven points.
Donta Harris Leads Laneville Past Central Heights
LANEVILLE -- Donta Harris scored 24 points to lead Laneville to a 70-53 home win against Central Heights on Friday night.
Harris' big night included four three-pointers. Kendrick Anderson added 14 points, while Tralon Alexander scored 13 points.
Laneville's Anthony Roberts chipped in with eight points as the Yellowjackets improved to 2-0.

Bullard Doubles Up Mabank
BULLARD -- Three players scored in double figures to fuel Bullard's 70-35 win against Mabank on Friday night.
Maddy Slayter led Bullard (8-1) with 22 points, while Bridgette Taylor added 18. Lexi Abercrombie dropped in 15. Teammates Lexi Kirgan and Nikki Johnson contributed seven points and six points, respectively.
Bullard hit a dozen three-pointers in the victory.
Ryley Beckham's Triple-Double Fuels Beckville
BECKVILLE -- Ryley Beckham recorded a triple-double on Friday to lead Beckville's 49-31 home victory against Lufkin Pineywoods Academy.
Beckham had 17 points, 12 rebounds, 10 steals, and four assists for the Ladycats, who improved to 3-5 on the season.
Kristina May had 10 points, seven rebounds, and five steals, while Erin McClelland had eight points, five boards, three steals, and three assists. Meagan Sewell had seven points, four rebounds, and four assists. Kendall Curry contributed five points and seven boards.
