Friday Schedule for East Texas Teams at the Division II 7-on-7 Football State Tournament

Four of the seven East Texas teams that made the trip to Central Texas for the Division II 7-on-7 football state tournament compete in Friday's championship bracket.

Chapel Hill, Gilmer, Canton, and White Oak play in the championship bracket after winning at least two games apiece during Thursday's pool play.

Chapel Hill and Gilmer each went 3-0 to win their pools, while Canton and White Oak each went 2-1.

The three remaining East Texas teams -- Carthage, Crockett, and Jasper -- play in Friday's consolation bracket. Carthage and Crockett each went 1-2 in Thursday's pool play, while Jasper was 0-3, including a 33-20 overtime loss to Crockett.

Friday Championship Bracket Schedule

• 9 a.m.: Gilmer vs. White Oak (Field 2B) -- winner plays Houston Westbury Christian or College Station in second round at 10:15 a.m. (five rounds total)
• 9 a.m.: Canton vs. Chapel Hill (Field 5B) -- winner plays Somerset or Sonora in second round at 10:15 a.m.

Friday Consolation Bracket Schedule

• 8 a.m.: Jasper vs. Cameron Yoe (Field 3A) -- winner plays Coleman or Kountze in second round at 10:15 a.m. (five rounds total)
• 8 a.m.: Crockett vs. Eastland (Field 3B) -- winner plays Wills Point or Kaufman in second round at 10:15 a.m.
• 8 a.m.: Carthage vs. Abilene Wylie (Field 7) -- winner plays Glen Rose or Dublin in second round at 10:15 a.m.
