BULLARD -- The Lady Panthers topped Huntington, 25-20, 25-11, 25-22 for a win Friday.

Bullard moved to 9-4 on the season with the victory.

Mackenzie Fish led the team in scoring with 13 kills and put together solid numbers in other departments, including four aces and six digs.

Rachel Kelley and Mikaela Goode combined for 27 assists. Kelley tied for the team-best in digs with Fish.

Sarah Wakefield and Katie Cole were the Lady Panthers' best defenders with a combined 21 digs.

Bullard will square off against New Diana on Tuesday.

 

Lindale Edged by Paris North Lamar

LINDALE -- The Lady Eagles started off hot and almost forced a decisive fifth set in a loss against North Lamar on Friday.

The North Lamar Lady Panters won the match, 21-25, 25-19, 25-18, 30-28.

Lindale is now 6-2.

Travicia Acy continued her tear for the Lady Eagles with 15 kills, five digs and four blocks in the match.

Rhyan Rand also was at the top of the charts. She put up 13 kills, 13 digs and two blocks.

McKenna Cox aided the effort with 31 assists and Brittany Birdsong took 31 North Lamar points off the board with digs.

Lindale will visit Gilmer on Tuesday.
