Friday Volleyball: Whitehouse Overpowers Jacksonville + More

WHITEHOUSE -- The Whitehouse LadyCats rolled to a 25-10, 25-14, 25-17 sweep of Jacksonville in District 17-5A volleyball action Friday.

Grace Hendricks led Whitehouse (21-15, 6-2) with 10 kills and five aces. Sydney Malmstrom added 10 kills, while Macy Smith chipped in with four aces and 15 digs.

Whitehouse's season resumes Tuesday at Lindale.

Carthage Too Much For Rusk

CARTHAGE -- The Carthage Lady Dawgs took home a 25-15, 25-11, 25-16 sweep of Rusk on Friday in District 16-4A play.

Alli Capps paced Carthage with 13 kills and eight digs, while Faith Landrenoux added 12 kills, six blocks, eight digs.

Matti Doffitt contributed five kills and five blocks, Carson Robertson dished out 31 assists, and Kaitlyn Nutt had 15 digs.

Quitman Dominates Kemp

KEMP -- The Quitman Lady Bulldogs secured a 25-8, 25-12, 25-15 sweep of Kemp in District 12-3A action Friday.

Molly Tanner led the way for Quitman (25-9, 9-2) with 11 kills, two blocks, three aces, and seven digs. Kaci Raley finished with nine kills, three blocks, two assists, an ace, and 15 digs, Macy Wilson added seven kills, a block, two aces, and eight digs, while Cammie Hicks contributed 20 assists to go with one ace and seven digs.

Quitman plays host to Eustace, Tuesday.

Alba-Golden Sweeps Past Eustace

EUSTACE -- The Alba-Golden Lady Panthers rolled to a 25-18, 25-23, 25-12 victory over Eustace in District 12-3A action Friday.

Gracie Pendergrass led the way with 12 kills, four blocks, and an ace. Kenzie Chadwick added eight kills, while Briana Weissert had 25 assists, eight digs, and an ace.

Bethany Carson contributed six blocks, Ginny Carson had four blocks and eight digs, and Aspen Howard added six digs.

Beckville Crushes Waskom

BECKVILLE -- Waskom was no much for Beckville, which eased to a 25-7, 25-7, 25-12 sweep in their District 16-3A matchup Friday.

Kinley Blair led Beckville (29-4, 9-0) with 14 kills, a block, six aces, and five digs. Riley Seegers added 10 kills, two blocks, and a dig, Payton Jones had seven kills, five aces, and 14 digs, Hannah Humphries finished with seven kills and four digs, while Kinley Pepper chipped in with 38 assists and seven digs.

Beckville is back in action Tuesday at New Diana.

Emory Rains Sweeps Mabank

EMORY -- The Emory Rains Ladycats earned a 25-23, 25-23, 25-15 sweep of Mabank in District 13-4A action Friday.

Charlotte Bradshaw led Rains (30-7, 7-0) by hammering home 20 kills. McKenna Hildebrant added five kills and 12 blocks, Taylor Pruitt had five kills, an ace, and 14 digs, Shelbi Sheppard had 28 assists, an ace, and 10 digs, Delaney Hill registered five blocks, while Elissa Elliott had nine digs and one ace.

Rains plays at Canton, Tuesday.
