VAN -- White Oak and Tyler All Saints will meet at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in bracket play after each went 3-0 Friday in pool-play action the Van Tournament.

White Oak defeated Grand Saline 25-14, 25-12, Lone Oak 25-12, 25-17 and Sanger 22-25, 25-10, 25-23. Tyler All Saints took down Brownsboro 25-19, 25-17, Quitman 17-25, 26-24, 25-21 and Whitesboro 25-19, 25-17.

In White Oak's win over Grand Saline, Taylor Tramel led the way with four kills and two digs. Madison Pecot added three kills, while Cayman Sutton provided seven assists and three digs.

The Ladynecks were led by Pecot's three kills in the win over Lone Oak. Tramel added two kills and nine digs and Sutton had six assists and two digs.

In White Oak's victory over Sanger, Pecot led with seven kills. Tramel added six kills and eight digs, Rebecca Green contributed five kills and six digs, Makenzie Goll had 10 digs and Sutton finished with 19 assists.

Lanna Johnson led Tyler All Saints with 10 kills and Maddie Smith added 21 assists in the Lady Trojans' win over Brownsboro. In the win over Quitman, Johnson had 13 kills and 10 digs, while Smith provided 28 assists. Johnson finished with seven kills against Whitebsboro, while Smith had 17 assists and Foster Hackney contributed five digs.

Carthage Goes 2-2 in Garland Tournament

GARLAND -- The Carthage Lady Dogs went 2-2 on Friday in pool play at the Garland Tournament.

Carthage defeated Episcopal School of Dallas 26-24, 25-18 and North Garland 25-8, 25-10 but lost to Mesquite Horn 25-11, 14-25, 25-11 and Wylie 25-21, 25-10.

The Lady Dogs continue with bracket play Saturday morning.

Sabine Wins Three of Four In Burkburnett

BURKBURNETT -- The Sabine Lady Cardinals won three of four matches Friday in pool play at the Burkburnett Tournament.

Sabine defeated Petrolia 25-16, 25-9, Jacksboro 25-21, 25-19 and Perryton 25-19, 25-17, and lost to Burkburnett 25-19, 21-25, 29-27.

Haley Stuart led the way against Petrolia, going for six kills and three blocks. Tylia Sylestine added one kill, one block, 10 digs and five aces, Emily Ivins contributed one kill, four digs and five assists and Brittany Terry finished with two kills and five digs.

In the win over Jacksboro, Sylestine had six kills, nine digs, one assist and three aces, Kasie Bell added four kills and three digs, Stuart racked up four kills, two digs and three aces, Ivins finished with 10 assists and two digs and Shelby Burns came away with two kills, a block and an ace.

Against Perryton, Stuart had eight kills, three blocks and an ace, Terry chipped in with three kills and six digs, Jayden Mount had a kill, three digs, nine assists and one ace, Skyllar Richter had a kill, six digs and two aces and Sylestine finished with a kill, block, six digs, one assist and three aces.

In the loss to Burkburnett, Stuart led the way with eight kills, one block, three digs, two assists and one ace, Sylestine added six kills and 17 digs, Bell delivered four kills and a dig, Richter added three kills, two blocks, six digs and four assists, Mount added a kill, 13 digs, eight assists and an ace and Kennidee Taylor registered 10 digs.

Bracket play continues Saturday.

New Diana Outlasts Gilmer in Five

GILMER -- The New Diana Lady Eagles defeated Gilmer 17-25, 8-25, 25-19, 26-24, 15-6 on Friday night in non-district action.

Madison Sampson led the way with 13 kills, 18 assists and four aces, while Bailee Birdsong had 10 kills and an ace, Christy Hjorth added seven kills and two blocks, Paige Hill finished with two kills and seven aces and Kayli Morvan had 14 digs, one kill and one ace.

New DIana returns to action Tuesday at Harmony, while Gilmer is at Troup.

Marshall Begins Season At 2-2

LONGVIEW -- The Marshall Lady Mavericks lost twice in pool play at the Longview tournament.

Marshall fell to Longview 25-23, 25-21 and Nacogdoches 25-16, 21-25, 25-22. Bracket play continues at 9 a.m. Saturday in Longview.

The Lady Mavericks opened the season Tuesday with a sweep of their dual match with Liberty-Eylau and Center. Marshall defeated L-E 26-24, 25-16, 21-25, 21-25, 15-9 and Center 25-17, 23-25, 25-10, 25-9.
