BULLARD -- The Bullard Brook Hill Guard remained unbeaten in TAPPS Division II District 2 with a 45-0 shutout of Dallas Shelton on Friday night at Herrington Stadium.

Gabe Lucio rushed for 143 yards and three touchdowns, and also caught a 9-yard touchdown pass to lead Brook Hill (3-1, 2-0).

The Guard used three quarterbacks in the blowout victory. Starter Grant Hanks was 7 of 11 for 62 yards, McCray Fletcher completed 6 of 8 attempts for 57 yards and two touchdowns, and McCade Marquis threw a 2-yard pass.

Seth Brasher led all Guard pass catchers with five receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown. Chase McDermott caught three passes for 24 yards, while Chase Moore and Ryan Cox finished with two catches apiece.

Brook Hill's season continues next Friday night at Tyler Grace (4-1, 2-0).
