IRVING -- Garrett Moseley was almost perfect passing in Van's 54-7 dominating win over Mineral Wells on Friday in a Class 4A Division I area round matchup at Joy and Ralph Ellis Stadium.

Van (11-1) will face Paris at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, at Eagle Stadium in Allen in the regional round.

Moseley ran for two touchdowns and threw for two more -- both to Isaiah Allred -- to lead Van to the win. Cooper Bledsoe also ran for two touchdowns.

Bledsoe also recorded an interception in the game that led to a Van touchdowns, and Michael Huffer returned a fumble 70 yards for a touchdown when the game was out of reach.

Tristan Perry's touchdown pass to Andy Garcia kept Mineral Wells from being shut out with just over three minutes left in the game.

Van took a 40-0 lead into halftime after scoring on all six of its first-half possessions, capped by Moseley's 1-yard run just before the break.
