CRANDALL -- Van quarterback Garrett Moseley accounted for 264 yards of offense and four of the Vandals' five touchdowns in a 34-14 win over Crandall on Friday night.

Moseley completed 10 of 20 passes for 151 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for 113 yards and two more scores in the win for Van, which stayed unbeaten on the year at 5-0 and won its District 8-4A Division I opener.

Van jumped on Crandall 21-0 early, thank to a 5-yard touchdown pass from Moseley to Gus Brewer and 1- and 2-yard touchdowns by the Vandals quarterback.

Van took a 21-7 lead into halftime after Hayden Pruitt's touchdown run put Crandall on the board.

Moseley hit Ethan Robinson for a 7-yard touchdown pass early in the third quarter to put Van back up by 20, 27-7.

Doneric Rivers scored on a 28-yard touchdown run to make the score 27-17, but Van responded with an 83-yard fumble return for a touchdown by Ridge Preston.
