Sole possession of first place in District 13-3A will be on the line Friday night when 13th-ranked Liberty-Eylau (19-3, 4-0) plays at No. 17 Pittsburg (21-4, 4-0).

The Lady Leopards, coming off a win over Paris North Lamar on Wednesday in a game pushed back a day because of inclement weather, are led by 5-11 senior guard and Baylor signee Imani Wright.

Pittsburg enters on the heels of a 62-36 win over Paris also on Wednesday. The Lady Pirates are led by 6-0 senior forward Cheyenne Ramey.

There's another girls matchup of ranked teams with first place in district at stake. No. 21 Alba-Golden (21-5, 7-1) travels to perennial power at 22nd-ranked Winnsboro (15-6, 7-1) on Friday.

Alba-Golden is coming off a 50-46 win over Edgewood on Tuesday, while Winnsboro knocked off Commerce, 45-31, on Tuesday.

In District 12-5A, the Tyler Lee Lady Raiders (12-15, 2-4) have a chance to draw even with idle Longview for the fourth and final playoff spot in the district. Lee needs to take care of business on the road at North Mesquite (6-18, 1-6).

No. 14 Lindale (20-4, 4-0 in District 16-4A) travels to Whitehouse (12-8, 2-2), which has won back-to-back district games after beginning with two losses.

Also in 16-4A, John Tyler (16-11, 1-3) plays at Corsicana (15-12, 1-3) in a battle between teams looking to get back into the district's playoff chase.
