The number of ranked East Texas girls basketball teams increased by one to 17 with Monday's release of the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches polls.

Bullard is the new East Texas face in this week's rankings, while the other 16 teams were also ranked a week ago. Bullard (20-8) jumped into the Class 3A poll at No. 25.

Also in 3A, Pittsburg (23-4) moved up two spots to No.15 following its 56-46 win over Liberty-Eylau (19-4), which fell from 12th to 17th.

Mineola (23-4) held its No. 23 ranking in 3A. Lindale (21-4) did the same at No. 14 in Class 4A.

Crockett (22-3) moved up two spots in Class 2A, while Tatum (24-2) kept the No. 19 spot. No. 20 Winnsboro (19-9) leapfrogged No. 21 Alba-Golden (21-6) after being ranked 22nd last week.

In Class A Division I, Martin's Mill (22-4) and Martinsville (27-0) continued their stranglehold of the top two spots. Slocum (22-2) and Zavalla (24-5) also kept the No. 9 and No. 15 slots, respectively.

Saltillo (22-4) remained No. 1 in Class A Division I. No. 15 Kennard (17-8) and No. 16 Chireno (18-7) each moved up one spot. Tyler T.K. Gorman (22-3) jumped one spot to No. 3 among large private schools.
