NACOGDOCHES -- Chanci Scott and Jasmine Parson each had 17 points to lead Jacksonville past Nacogdoches, 55-45, Friday night in District 16-4A action.

The win improved the Maidens to 15-13 overall and 2-3 in district.

Jacksonville outscored Nacogdoches, 27-14, in the fourth quarter for the come-from-behind win.

Nacogdoches (18-10, 3-2) was led by Charity Page's 13 points. E.J. Johnson added 11.

Jacksonville is back in action Tuesday at John Tyler, while Nacogdoches plays host to Whitehouse.

No. 23 Mineola Survives Mabank For Sole Possession of First Place

MINEOLA -- The 23rd-ranked Mineola Lady Yellowjackets edged Mabank, 38-36, Friday night to claim sole possession of first place in District 15-3A.

Jordan Dawson led Mineola (24-3, 5-0) with 14 points, while Marisa Ledkins added 10.

Mabank dropped to 4-1 in district.

Mineola is back in action Tuesday at home against Van.

Balanced Scoring Sends White Oak Past New Diana

WHITE OAK -- The White Oak Lady Necks used a balanced scoring effort to take down New Diana, 62-56, Friday in District 17-2A action.

Dorothy Swanson had 14 points and eight rebounds, Whitney Simmons provided 14 points and six boards and Allison Goll also had 14 points in the win.

Makenzie Goll added nine points, seven rebounds and three assists for White Oak (17-7, 7-2).

Kimmie Hendricks led New Diana (6-3 in district) with 28 points, while Haley Truman followed with 18 points.

White Oak continues its season Tuesday at Union Grove, while New Diana plays host to Tatum.

Harleton Too Much For Beckville

HARLETON -- Hailey Hunter had 13 points to lead Harleton past Beckville, 49-31, Friday in District 17-A Division I action.

Beckville (12-13, 2-6) was led by Ivy Rieke's 13 points and 14 rebounds.

Harleton returns to the court Tuesday at Carlisle, while Beckville plays host to No. 1 Martin's Mill.
