LONGVIEW -- Kabreisha Orange scored 19 points and Sky Holmes recorded a double-double to lead Pine Tree to a 57-49 win against Texas High in Friday's District 14-4A meeting at the Pirate Center.

Holmes had 16 points, 15 rebounds, and four steals, while McKaylla Baylor added 10 points and six rebounds. Daneisha Patterson had five assists and three steals for PT, which improved to 12-8 overall and 1-2 in 14-4A.

No. 16 Pittsburg Edges Paris North Lamar in Overtime

PITTSBURG -- Megan Peters had 14 points, eight rebounds, and four assists, while Cheyenne Ramey added 13 points and nine rebounds as No. 16 Pittsburg remained undefeated in District 13-3A with a 33-31 overtime victory against Paris North Lamar.

Pittsburg (20-4, 3-0) got eight rebounds and three steals from Shakia Duffey, plus six steals and three assists from Denasia Watson.

Jordan Dawson Powers No. 25 Mineola to 19-Point Win Over Canton

MINEOLA -- Jordan Dawson scored 21 points to lead 25th-ranked Mineola to a 62-43 victory in Friday's District 15-3A matchup.

Sister Green scored 10 points for Mineola (22-3, 3-0), while Ali Galaz added eight points. Marisa Ledkins and Peyton Stephens scored seven apiece.

Canton fell to 1-2 in district.

No. 22 Tatum Serves Elysian Fields First District Loss

TATUM -- In a battle of undefeated District 17-2A foes, Tatum came out on top 51-35 against Elysian Fields in Friday's matchup at Eagle Coliseum.

Kaylah Starling led Tatum with 12 points and eight blocks, while Kiana Turner and Alexes Bell added 11 and 10 points, respectively. The Lady Eagles improved to 24-2 overall and 7-0 in district.

Janice Strange's 15 points led Elysian Fields, which dropped to 18-8 overall and 6-1 in 17-2A.

Sha'Traven Ransom Dominates in
Hughes Springs' Four-Point Win Over Redwater

HUGHES SPRINGS -- Sha'Traven Ransom was two blocks shy of a triple-double in leading Hughes Springs to a 56-52 win over Redwater in Friday's District 16-2A contest.

Ransom had 22 points, 21 rebounds, and eight blocks, while Kaycee Willis added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Mustangs (10-12, 5-2).

Katie Bennett led Redwater (3-4 in district) with 16 points. Elizabeth Davis had 14, and Lexi Bonner added 12.

Haily Jenkins Powers No. 1 Martin's Mill to 66-25 Win at Overton

OVERTON -- Haily Jenkins scored 60 percent of her team's points and accounted for almost the entire victory margin in top-ranked Martin's Mill's 66-25 rout of Overton in Friday's District 17-A Division I game.

Jenkins scored 40 points, pouring in 20 points in each half to lead the Lady Mustangs (21-4) to a 6-0 start in district. Teammate Cheyenne Brown added 19 points.

Maya Bradford + Ivy Rieke Propel Beckville to 55-36 Win Over Big Sandy

BECKVILLE -- The reliable duo of Maya Bradford and Ivy Rieke had another big game Friday, leading Beckville to a 55-36 win over Big Sandy.

Bradford had 18 points, 13 rebounds, and three steals, while Rieke added 16 points, seven rebounds, seven steals, and three assists as Beckville improved to 12-11 overall and 2-4 in District 17-A Division I. Jennifer Davis had seven points and seven rebounds. Kimber Wesner had five points and four steals.

Beckville led 30-19 at halftime and stretched the lead to 40-23 entering the fourth quarter.

Beckville hosts Overton at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday.

MacKay-Lee Chapman + Kelsee Wade Lead Neches Past Mount Enterprise

NECHES -- MacKay-Lee Chapman and Kelsee Wade combined for 26 points as Neches beat Mount Enterprise 43-37 in District 21-A Division I play Friday.

Chapman led the Lady Tigers (13-11, 3-0) with 15 points, while Wade added 11. Kiandra Taylor scored seven points. Kamry Kinder and Halea Kendrick had six and four, respectively.

Mount Enterprise fell to 1-2 in 21-A D-I play.
