Gunner Capps + Carthage Clobber Brazosport, 45-21

PORTER -- Gunner Capps threw four touchdown passes, leading No. 1 Carthage to an easy 45-21 win over Brazosport in their Class 4A Division I area playoff at Texan Drive Stadium on Friday night.

Carthage (12-0) will face Silsbee (7-4) in the Region III semifinals next Friday night from Lufkin's Abe Martin Stadium.

Dee Bowens was on the receiving end of three of Capps' touchdowns, while Dewaylon Ingram snagged the other.

Bulldogs running back Keaontay Ingram also added 135 rushing yards and two touchdowns in Carthage's dominant victory.
