A third quarter score was all Hallsville needed in a 7-6 victory against Mount Pleasant on Friday.

The win marked the first one for the Bobcats this season, as they improved to 1-4.

Tristan Driggers scored the lone touchdown for Hallsville. He finished we 150 yards on only six touches.

Mount Pleasant scored with 5:27 remaining, but a missed PAT cost them the game.

Hallsville will host Greenville, and Mount Pleasant visits Pine Tree next week.
