LONGVIEW -- Hallsville senior Devin Jackson fired a 66 on Monday to win first-place honors at the Spring Hill Invitational at Wood Hollow Golf Course.

Jackson's first-place performance led the Bobcats to first place as a team as well. Carthage finished second and Tyler Lee placed third.

Jackson, who signed with Texas Tech in November, is back after a big junior golf season last spring, when he reached the Class 4A state meet for the second consecutive season. Jackson's trip to the state meet in 2012 as a sophomore marked the first time Hallsville ever sent a golfer to the state competition.
