One of East Texas' top offensive lineman has been tabbed for the Texas High School Coaches Association's football all-star game.

Hallsville left tackle Hayden Wall will play in the all-star showcase, which is 7 p.m. July 30 at TCU's Amon Carter Stadium in Fort Worth.

Wall joins Longview defensive tackle Cornelius Williams as all-star game invitees.

Wall, an Abilene Christian signee, had a strong senior season to cap off his Hallsville career, which ended with a 7-4 campaign for the Bobcats. The 6-foot-4, 270-pounder had 75 pancake blocks and 56 knockdown blocks while grading at 95 percent.

He chose ACU over offers from SFA and Central Arkansas, which will be new conference mates for ACU as it makes the move to the Division I FCS Southland Conference.

As a junior and senior, Wall helped Hallsville to its first back-to-backplayoff appearances since the 2005-06 seasons.
