The Tatum Eagles (1-0) scored 24 first half points and cruised to a 45-0 victory over the Winnsboro Red Raiders (1-1). The Eagles were paced by a smothering, hard-hitting defense that throttled the Raiders option offense.

Demetrius Hill was a one-man gang for the Eagles. He scored three times on touchdown runs of two and three yards. He also returned a blocked field goal attempt 82 yards for the score, all in the first half.

Dusty Richardson kicked a 38-yard field goal to get the Eagle scoring started at 10:22 of the first quarter. Richardson was also perfect on PATs for the night.

Up 24-0 at intermission, the Eagles took the second half kickoff and went 57 yards in five plays with Devon Boyd bulling his way for the last 16 and the score.

On the next series, Eagle CB Klifton Willis picked a pass and returned it 28 yards for the score.

After a three-and-out the Eagles scored the nightcap as QB J.D. Taylor found Jaylen Shans from 27 yards out for the score.

The Eagles travel to Pleasant Grove next Friday night.
